| Every one of our house designs is unique, and as such requires sufficient time for thoughtful designing and detailing before a contractor drives the first nail. The care we give your new home before the construction begins ensures that every facet of your home is thoroughly understood, thereby minimizing expensive “fixes” or problems during and after construction. On average, a project takes approximately 3-5 months to develop prior to construction, and will cycle through the following design process: | ||
| Preliminary Design Phase Conceptual ideas are put on paper to create a preliminary plan of each floor, a front perspective view and a schematic site plan. This affords our clients the opportunity to become comfortable with the house plan before all of the technical information is added. This phase of work typically takes 5-6 weeks. It is difficult to price due to the unknown time factor but usually will cost less than $10,000. |

| Construction Drawing Phase Once the preliminary design has been developed and approved, the construction drawings are prepared. These are the technical documents that will instruct the builder. This phase of work typically takes 12-14 weeks. We quote all construction drawings so our clients know the full cost prior to beginning this body of work. |

| Construction Construction administration is provided at our client's request. We review the progress of the work, answer questions, and facilitate any changes that may be required. Final selections of finishes, fixtures, and colors are also made. |
